Brief Introduction for You
When we have created Voltayze we’ve started from our passion for data analytics and our experience with IOT and electric cars. Tesla offered us a great experience and now we want to enhance it for you.
What is the difference between offered services
Our vision for you is to test our application and if you like it then stay and pay to maintain this greatness. You can pay monthly or get a discount for an entire year subscription.
Is my data secured
As we explained, we don’t ask for your account credential (i.e. Tesla). You create a local account with us and just grant Voltayze access, by Tesla, to get your car metrics. All data transfer between Tesla and Voltayze is going over https protocol with private key communication as Tesla recommends and checks.
Can I revoke my access
Yes, at any time you can login in your Tesla account and unsubscribe our access. We also provide you a link in your account for easy access.
Do other people can see my location?
Your car reports the location to Voltayze and we store that encrypted in our AWS storage. Nobody has access to this data. Communication between our systems is filtered by AWS security measures.
My car is not sending data
If you login to your reports and you don’t see data check your account status. If you see an issue write us at support@voltayze.com.
I registered but my reports are empty
When you register first time your reports will show no data. After you start using your car the data will start to flow in. Per Tesla recommendations data comes on a 1 min cadence. We would love to get it more frequent, but it is not possible.
If I used other service like TeslaMate before
We don’t have an automated way of supporting a migration from that but write us at support@voltayze.com and we will try to assist on migrate your data (if possible).
Do I need a device to plug in my car?
No, there is no device you need to plug in to your car. Tesla sends us the information directly from their services on your approval.
